What is S.T.E.A.M.? It is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics. S.T.E.A.M. classes guide student learning through inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking. Collaboration is key for the students to be successful in S.T.E.A.M. At Mariposa, we are preparing our students for the future. According to the U.S. Department of Education S.T.E.M or S.T.E.A.M. related jobs will grow by 14% from 2010-2020. Teaching these skills will help our students become part of the local and global markets and become essential parts of the communities they live in.
