NRS allows for teachers to take a leave of absence from a district to teach at a Charter School.

Mariposa Teachers and Assistants receive PERS credit.

Mariposa provides employee insurance that is comparable to larger districts.

Mariposa staff have the option to purchase dependent Insurance coverage similarly to that of larger districts.

Mariposa is very competitive with their salaries (often matching or exceeding neighboring larger districts). Mariposa uses WCSD salary rates as a guide.

Mariposa has an amazing small family community feel with about 200 students and about 25 total staff members.

Mariposa sets their school calendar similarly to that of larger school districts for holiday breaks etc.

Mariposa welcomes applicants who are bilingual and are able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently.
