Mariposa, Celebrate International Women's Day by wearing purple today, March 7th! If you decide to not wear purple, you have to be in your school uniform. Mariposa, ¡Celebra el Dia Internacional de la Mujer vistiéndote de morado hoy, viernes 7 de marzo! Si decides no vestirte de morado, tienes que usar tu uniforme escolar.
¡Estamos emocionados de celebrar la Semana de la Lectura del 10 al 14 de marzo! Como parte de las festividades, los estudiantes crearán un divertido proyecto de tinte extremo durante STEAM.
Para participar, cada estudiante de PK a 6.º grado debe traer un par de calcetines LARGOS, BLANCOS, de ALGODÓN y LIMPIOS para teñir. Los maestros de aula estarán recolectando los calcetines, y todos deben entregarse a más tardar el lunes 3 de marzo.

We are excited to celebrate Reading Week from March 10-14! As part of the festivities, students will be creating a fun tie-dye project during STEAM.
To participate, each PK-6th grade student must bring a pair of CLEAN, LONG, WHITE COTTON SOCKS for tie-dyeing. Classroom teachers will be collecting the socks, and all socks must be turned in by Monday, March 3rd.

We are anticipating the roads will be more icy as the afternoon/evening nears with the temperatures dropping. Please make sure to pick up students as soon as possible from the after school program today to ensure everyone gets home safe including afterschool staff, we would like afterschool to end as early as possible.
