Families, as a school, we know that studies show student learning is best when participating in an in-person learning model and we also want to ensure student safety. Please plan for IN PERSON learning each day. If we are going to have to make a change, we will notify families through our website, our app, and text messages. For tomorrow 9/17, please plan to attend school for IN PERSON learning, the air quality forecast is in the "orange range" and we will be able to provide alternative recess options for students who need them.

Families, Due to conflicting predictions about air quality for tomorrow 9/15, we wanted to update you that at this time, it is our goal to have in person learning for our students. Mariposa Academy Parent/Teacher conference the week of Sept 14, 2020. Students will be dismissed at 12:30PM all week. Please make the proper arrangements to pick up your student on time. Thank you! Families, As you may know, we typically follow the lead of WCSD with calling distance learning for smoke and other school closures in an effort to support families who may have students in WCSD schools. This coming week we have 1/2 days of school due to virtual conference week and are releasing students at 12:30pm every day. It is our plan to maintain in-person learning this week even though WCSD might make different decisions. We will be able to support students by keeping them in for recess etc as needed on a 1/2 day schedule while also providing them with in person rigorous learning opportunities. We look forward to seeing you all this week.

Familias, como sabrán, normalmente seguimos el ejemplo de WCSD cuando hay que seguir la educación a distancia por el humo y otros cierres de escuelas en un esfuerzo para apoyar a las familias que pueden tener estudiantes en las escuelas de WCSD. La semana que viene tenemos 1/2 días de clases debido a la semana de conferencias virtuales y los estudiantes salen a las 12:30 pm todos los días. Nuestro plan es mantener el aprendizaje en persona esta semana aunque WCSD pueda tomar decisiones diferentes. Podremos apoyar a los estudiantes manteniéndolos dentro en el recreo, etc., según sea necesario, en un horario de medio día y al mismo tiempo brindarles en persona oportunidades de aprendizaje rigurosas. Esperamos verlos a todos esta semana.
