Mariposa is going to be offering a Summer Program for current students in grades K-5 and incoming Kindergarten students. The program will start on June 22 and end July 15. (Survey will sent home with student today 4.23.21) Mariposa ofrecerá un programa de verano para los estudiantes actuales en los grados Kinder a 5to y los estudiantes que ingresan al Kinder. El programa comenzará el 22 de junio y finalizará el 15 de julio. (La encuesta se enviara a casa hoy 4.23.21)

Familias, es muy importante que sigan nuestras pautas escolares para que podamos mantener a los estudiantes seguros y también asegurarnos de que aprendan a diario. 1. TODOS los vehículos DEBEN dejar y recoger a los estudiante en el estacionamiento de la escuela. Por favor deje de usar el estacionamiento de los departamentos que se encuentran detrás de la escuela y el estacionamiento en la calle y no camine de su auto para recoger a los estudiantes. Nuestro personal no puede mantener seguros a los estudiantes cuando hace esto. 2. La escuela COMIENZA a las 8:00 am. Si está en el estacionamiento dejando a los estudiantes a las 8:00 am, ya es TARDE y está deteniendo a nuestro personal para enseñar a los estudiantes que llegaron a tiempo. ¡Gracias por ayudarnos mientras apoyamos a TODOS nuestros estudiantes!

Families, it is very important that you follow our school guidelines so that we can keep students safe and also ensure they are learning daily. 1. ALL drive up drop off and pick up MUST happen in our parking lot. Please stop using the apartment parking behind the school and parking on the street and walking up to get students. Our staff is unable to keep students safe when you do this. 2. School STARTS at 8:00am. If you are in the parking lot dropping students off at 8:00am you are LATE and you are stopping our staff for teaching the students who were here on time. Thank you for helping us as we support ALL of our students!

Picture Day is fast approaching! Tuesday, April 13, 2021 This year we’re encouraging students to show their personality, joy and confidence. It’s a celebration of their individuality. In short, we’re encouraging them to simply: Be You. If they want to wear a funny tie, dress up or down a little, or even wear a funky hat or two, they’ve got the all-clear to Be You. BE YOU - encouraging kids to laugh, enjoy, and love in front of the camera. ¡El día de la fotografía se acerca rápidamente!Martes 13 de abril de 2021. Good afternoon, Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation has now opened registration and is accepting scholarship applications for our Student Stewards Summer Science Camp! Our goal is to ensure every child has the opportunity to explore the joys of natural science, so we appreciate your help with sharing this information with your program community. The Student Stewards Program is offering 9 weeks of outdoor exploration, hands-on activities, and exciting experiments, from June 7 to August 6. Some of our weekly themes include "Build, Destroy, Build," "Mad Science," "Creepy Crawlies and Other Creatures," and more! Our camp is for students ages 8-12. Older students are invited to apply to become a Junior Counselor by emailing hannah@tmparksfoundation.org. Camp runs from 9 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday; extended hours (8:00 AM to 5:30 PM) are also available for an additional $20/week. We are currently offering an Early Bird Special of $150 per student per week ($170 with extended hours)! After May 3, this price will go up to $200 ($220 with extended hours).
