Families, remember that our school day and student learning begins at 8:00am. When your child is late to school it disrupts the learning of the other students in the class and is not being a good academic citizen. Thank you for respecting our staff, students and other families by getting to school on time. Have a great day! Families, Teacher appreciation week is celebrated May 2-6. We are excited to appreciate ALL of our staff that make Mariposa Magical! Get ready to send a kind note or a special treat for a staff member the week of May 2-6, and have students dress up each day to show them how much we appreciate staff! Also, if your family would like to bring a treat for the entire staff, please call Mrs. Hunt at (775)826-4040 or email at jhunt@mariposaacademy.net to set up a time to bring a treat to share! (Secret…teachers love homemade treats or food from families!)

Reminder: SBAC is a state mandated test for students in grades 3rd-5th. Mariposa begins testing on next Monday, April 25th, 2022. ATTENDANCE and being ON TIME are VERY important. Thank you for your support!

We need empty and cleaned out eggshells to make cascarones for our annual block party on Friday May 20th. If you would like to donate your eggs, please cut a small hole at the top (like in the picture below), empty and rinse out the inside of the eggshell, and bring them to the office in an egg carton
NO LATER than Wednesday May 11th.
We will be decorating and filling them the week before the block party!

Si desea donar los cascarones de huevo, corte un pequeño orificio en la parte superior (como en la imagen a continuación), vacíe y enjuague el interior del cascaron del huevo y tráigalos a la oficina en un cartón de huevos A MÁS TARDAR el Miércoles 11 de Mayo ¡Estaremos decorándolos y llenándolos la semana antes de la fiesta de la cuadra!
