Mariposa will have a regular school day tomorrow. When traveling to and from our school, please be extra cautious as the evacuation center and many of the Davis Fire resources have been moved to the Neil Road Community Center. This could impact the flow of traffic and parking on Neil Road. Your patience is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY as we work together to support the community. See you tomorrow.

Tonight, law enforcement & emergency responders recommended that all schools to be closed tomorrow, 9/11/24, due to the unpredictability of the Davis Fire and the wind possibly moving it in a North East direction quickly. Mariposa will be closed tomorrow, 9/11/24.

Families, if you are attending Open House tonight from 5:30pm-6:30pm you can park in the main lot, across the street in the dirt lot, or at the Neil Road Community Center parking lot. Please DO NOT park on the sides of the street by our neighbors, they have made this request. Thanks and we will see you tonight!
Mariposa families and students, join us for a visit at school with your child’s classroom teacher, a tour of the STEAM classroom, Title I information, and Before & After School Program information on Thursday, August 29th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Familias y estudiantes de Mariposa, los invitamos a que visite la escuela y conozca al profesor y el aula de su hijo, de un recorrido por el aula de STEAM, reciba información del Título I y del programa de antes y después de clases el jueves 29 de agosto de 5:30 p.m. a 6:30 p. m.
Familias, estamos tratando de mantener seguros a los niños, al personal y a las familias durante los horarios de recogida y entrega. Por favor, sigan nuestros procedimientos establecidos. Las familias pueden hacer fila en la calle y en el estacionamiento a partir de las 2:55 p. m. o pueden estacionarse en el parque Neil Road y caminar para buscar a su estudiante. Families, we are trying to keep children, staff, and families safe during pick up and drop off times. Please follow our set procedures. Families can get in line on the street and in the parking lot starting at 2:55pm or you can park at the Neil Road park and walk in to get your child. Our streets are not wide enough to have cars waiting for hours and blocking traffic flow. Thank you for showing respect to each other and to the staff.
